Questions & ANSWERS
1. Do I need a visa to enter Dubai or Abu Dhabi?
The need for a visa depends on your nationality. Citizens of countries such as Colombia, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Peru and others can enter the United Arab Emirates as tourists without a visa for a period of up to 90 days. However, we recommend verifying the updated requirements with the airline or the nearest Emirati consulate, as these may change without prior notice.
What is the best time of the year to visit Dubai and Abu Dhabi?
The ideal season for travel is between November and April, when temperatures range between 20°C and 30°C, ideal for outdoor activities, desert excursions and city tours. Between June and September, the heat can exceed 45°C, so many activities are limited to indoors or air-conditioned spaces.
What type of clothing is appropriate in Dubai and Abu Dhabi?
Although Dubai is a modern city, it is recommended to dress with decorum and respect for the local culture. Men and women should cover shoulders and knees in public and religious places. In mosques, the use of abaya (for women) and clothing covering arms and legs (for men) is required. Swimwear is permitted at beaches, hotels and swimming pools.

Yes, alcohol consumption is allowed in licensed hotels, bars, restaurants and clubs. However, drinking on public roads and driving under the influence of alcohol is not permitted. It is also illegal to purchase alcohol without a license if you are a resident.
